Shared Principles for Cultural Respect and Community Wellbeing

I. Cultural Integrity

• Members honor the diverse cultural traditions related to cigar history, craftsmanship, and ritual.
  Cultural appropriation, misrepresentation, or mockery is strictly prohibited.

II. Responsible Enjoyment

• Members will only participate in cigar appreciation activities in lawful, respectful, and voluntary settings.

Smoking is never permitted in prohibited zones or in disregard of others’ comfort and safety.

III. Respect for Community

• All members and guests must be treated with dignity and inclusion regardless of background, identity, or beliefs.

Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory behavior will result in immediate review and potential expulsion.

IV. Confidentiality

• Discussions, connections, and cultural exchanges that occur in Association spaces (physical or digital) are confidential unless explicitly permitted for public use.
  
  

V. No Commercial Solicitation

• Members may not use the Association to market or solicit products/services without prior approval.

Collaboration is encouraged when rooted in culture and respect, not profit motives.

VI. Accountability

• Violations of this Code may result in a warning, suspension, or permanent removal, based on severity and review by the Board
